This is my entry for Cinema Makeup School’s scholarship competition ‘The Next Level Of Cosplay’ 2016. This is my 2nd time entering and this time I’ve made Groot from Guardians Of The Galaxy! He was a huge challenge and I had a ton of fun making him and wearing him.
PLEASE NOTE: I’m pretty unhappy about the eyes fogging up during filming, I originally had the cute shiny black look to the eye forms but it was HOT in that costume! So sorry for the weird milky eyes, but I felt it would be cheating to mask them in post-production, so my Groot looks like he has cataracts sadly! 🙁

Thank you SO much to Emma Bullions of Dark Star Media who did a lot of the filming on this for me, a huge thank you to my lovely friends Eddy and Rob who helped me climb into the costume and with last minute details, and lots of thank yous to everyone at Millennium FX Aylesbury for the use of their facilities and all their helpful advice!

Follow me on to keep up with my work and the competition! Wish me luck for making the semi-finals! Lets do this Team Blue Girl!
